ANZGOG is pleased to announce that six members have been named recipients of the 2021 NHMRC Grant Application Round.

The Minister for Health and Aged Care, the Honourable Greg Hunt MP, has announced the funding outcomes for the NHMRC funding grant opportunities.

Grant outcomes for the 2021 NHMRC Grant Application Round will gradually be distributed throughout the year.

The following ANZGOG members are amongst the successful applicants:

  • Professor Monika Janda – Centres of Research Excellence: ‘Skin Imaging and Precision Diagnosis’
  • Professor David Bowtell – Investigator Grant: ‘Driving Improvements in Ovarian Cancer Survival through Molecular and Clinical Studies’
  • Professor Sandie McCarthy – Partnership Projects: ‘BALANCE: Promoting wellbeing in adolescent and young adult cancer survivors’
  • Associate Professor Chee Lee – Investigator Grant: ‘Improving outcomes in advanced lung and gynaecological cancers through innovations in clinical trials’
  • Professor Clare Scott – Investigator Grant: ‘Super-Responders and Super-Survivors – how to dramatically improve cancer outcomes’
  • Professor Susan Ramus – Investigator Grant: ‘Development of clinical tests to improve treatment for ovarian cancer patients’
