ANZGOG congratulates its members Prof Linda Mileshkin, A/Prof Rhonda Farrell, and A/Prof Chee Khoon Lee for their successful MRFF grant initiatives in reproductive and gynaecological cancers.
$6.5 million in funding will be invested by the Australian Government to support four clinical trials for endometrial cancer, epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube and peritoneal cancer, and the role of hormonal therapy in treating gynaecological cancers. $4.3 million of this funding was allocated to projects led by the aforementioned ANZGOG Members in the recent MRFF grant announcement via Health Minister Greg Hunt MP.
“I would like to proudly acknowledge and congratulate our investigators for their success in the latest MRFF grant round! HyNOVA, ADELE and PARAGON-II were all funded, so we have a busy few months ahead to prepare to open these studies. Unfortunately, SBS2, TIARA, and ENDO3 were unsuccessful and we will be exploring future funding options for them later in the year.”
