The national medical oncology profession will gather in Perth, Western Australia for the Medical Oncology Group of Australia’s 44th Annual Scientific Meeting. This year’s theme is Frontiers in Cancer Care.
Across major plenary sessions, symposia, highlight and breakfast sessions the Program will feature several international presenters and focus on Breast, Genitourinary, Gastro-Intestinal and Head and Neck cancers; with additional sessions on Challenging Toxicities and Sarcoma Management, Equity in Cancer Care, Indigenous Cancer Care and Clinician Wellbeing.
Dedicated Trainees and Young Oncologists Education Programs and Networking Dinners are being planned along with the ASM Abstract and Poster Program that will be published online. Awards will be presented for abstracts, plus others including the 2023 Cancer Achievement Award and the Professor M. Tattersall Heroes Award.
The Meeting will incorporate a large Industry Exhibition, the Networking Lounge, and an extensive Poster Display. To optimise clinicians’ participation an Update from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians’ Advance Training Committee-Medical Oncology and opportunities to complete the College’s mandatory Supervisor training will be available.
Social activities will include the ASM Dinner to be held at the Art Gallery of Western Australia, Breakfast Sessions and a Networking Function at Perth Convention Centre to close out the event.
