ANZGOG has unveiled its 2023 Annual Report, showcasing its achievements over the last year in gynaecological cancer research.
Under the leadership of Professor Clare Scott AM, ANZGOG continues to push the boundaries in the quest to improve the lives of those affected by gynaecological cancer. Professor Scott said, “ANZGOG continues to accomplish a great deal as it grows its research portfolio, works closely with our community of valued supporters and members, and ensures our advocacy and education activities foster strength in our sector.”
Highlights and significant developments presented in the ANZGOG Annual Report 2023:
- ANZGOG launched two new trials, completed recruitment for four others, and continued developing several pipeline studies.
- The 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting was an outstanding success with 325 delegates joining us in Brisbane. This meeting focused on the theme “Improving the Lived Experience of Patients with Gynaecological Cancer.”
- In May, ANZGOG leaders outlined a new 5-year strategic plan with a refreshed vision: “Advancing Research, Saving Lives” and four strategic goals.
