ANZGOG is conducting three Idea Generation Workshops with its Tumour Working Groups on 1 November 2024 at the Rydges Hotel, Sydney Airport. Members are invited to present an IDEA or CONCEPT for discussion at these workshops.
Early career researchers are particularly encouraged to bring their idea to the ANZGOG Ideas Generation Workshops. The Tumour Working Group will help you develop the idea at the October session and recommend a working party to work together with you to develop the idea further if required. More experienced researchers are welcome to bring their idea or a more fully developed concept to the workshops for discussion and fast tracking through to the Research Advisory Committee.
Ideas can incorporate any area of gynaecological cancer research; surgical, medical, and radiation oncology, translational research, research investigating the causes, prevention, and treatment of gynaecological cancers, quality of life and symptom benefit studies.
When?
Friday 1 November 2024, 9:30am – 12:30pm AEST
**Deadline for Idea and Concept submissions is Friday 27 September 2024 COB**
How to register?
Three working groups are listed below. Within those working groups you will find additional details to what is in focus along with a link to an ideas form and concept form.
We invite you to submit your study idea using the form for discussion with the relevant ANZGOG Tumour Type Working Groups for further development. Once completed, please e-mail your completed New Study Idea Form to John Andrews at john.andrews@anzgog.org.au
Please note that a concept form must be filled in for interest in submitting your idea for the OASIS Initiative. Please ensure that your concept addresses the majority of points noted in the Concept Development Form (see Ovarian Workshops below). A checklist is provided in the form to aid investigators in preparing their concept for submission to ANZGOG. Concepts are reviewed by the ANZGOG Research Advisory Committee and the ANZGOG Consumer Research Panel. Email your completed concept development form to john.andrews@anzgog.org.au
